1. Any employee changed from one employment classification to another shall receive the salary of the new classification at the time the change is made, except when such changes are only for temporary periods of time.

2. Employees who are assigned to positions of higher classification shall receive the wage of the higher classification beginning with the second week (sixth working day) of the assignment to such position; provided that employees who have had the equivalent of one week training on such position shall receive the wage of the higher classification at the time they are assigned to such position.
