1. Employees shall not be expected to report for work, and no deductions
from pay shall be made for such absences from work on the following days:

NOTE: *This holiday will follow the school calendar and will not be taken on a day of student attendance.
2. If any of the foregoing holidays fall on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as a holiday. If any of the foregoing holidays fall on a Saturday, at the option of the employer, the holiday will either (l) be observed on the prior Friday, or (2) deferred and observed as a personal vacation day to be used during the calendar year in which they occur unless the deferred days occur during the Christmas Recess, in which case, they will be deferred to the next calendar year and used during that year.
3. Anyone requested to work on these holidays shall receive regular pay for his or her holiday plus one and one-half (1-l/2) times his or her regular rate for a minimum of three (3) hours overtime.
