unit is intended for the purpose of learning about a specificPlains Indian
tribe.
You
will learn how your Plains Indian tribe is similiar or different from you
and your family in the areas of everyday life, food, language, jobs and
roles, and customes and rituals. This unit was also intended to clear stereotypes
and misconceptions that you may have had about the Native American culture.
It also will help you to be aware of other cultures and how they live.
