Penguins
Lesson Plans ideas:
1. Have the children turn part of the room into their own rookery.
2. Read the novel "Mr. Popper's Penguins" by: Richard and
Florence Atwater.
3. Have your students research how a particular penguin looks. For a
math lesson, have them make a true to size picture of the penguin. Then,
you can do a graphing activity with their results.
4. Take student's pictures with a QuickTake camera and have them glue
their picture on the face of a construction paper made penguin.
