Language Arts

Standards: Discuss the purposes and characteristics of different forms of written text.(7. 3.1) Identify and analyze themes such as bravery, loyalty, friendship, ect.(7.3.4) Revise writing to improve organization and word choice. (7.4.10)
Webquests: A Tale to be Told, Scrooge for Mayor (interesting links, but may need to be modified to fit your class ability levels)
Standard: Write persuasive compositions. (7.5.4) NOTE: The following webquest can be modified in order to write a persuasive paper convincing the shark NOT to eat you. The grading rubric will need to be modified also.
