    This project will let students discover the different types of food and snacks that children in other places enjoy. Provide map skill experience locating the state or country of the participating schools. It will also provide a classroom recipe book of nutritious snacks.

    Each participating class picks a simple nutritious snack that they enjoy. The nutritious snack should not contain an excessive amount of sugar or junk food items. It can be one prepared totally or partially by students. The classes e-mail the recipe, along with a short story to tell us about themselves and when they enjoyed the snack (at a party, as part of a unit of study, etc.) and a picture of the completed snack.
