Mrs. Synko's fourth grade class has adopted our first grade class. Each first grader has one or two fourth grade parents to listen to them read and help them with various projects. We meet as a group on Tuesday afternoons from 1:35 to 2:15. It is a confidence builder for the first graders to know that they have an older student that they can count on to help them out.

The fourth graders helped the first graders make their first slide show in Kid Pix. We made an ABC Counting Book slide show.

We really look forward to Tuesday afternoon, our fourth grade parents are very helpful.
