This was an interesting day. Each of us wore our red ribbons again (me too). We promised to be drug free. In the afternoon we all went to the gym where we had two special visitors. Mrs. O'Bannon came to visit us. She is the governor's wife. They call her the First Lady of Indiana. Our own Mayor Buzinec came with her. They both spoke about Red Ribbon Week. Weren't we lucky?

Today was another quiet day. That gave me a chance to make a pumpkin hat. I made a bug hat for my little one. I'm going to be The Great Pumpkin. Simos will take me to the big parade in the gym. All the third graders will follow. Then they will have treats and games. Do you think they will have some bamboo for me? I do like Halloween!

Well its bye-bye to St. Bridget School and what a send off I got. We had a Halloween party with costumes and all. I got dressed up too. The Third Graders and I marched in the costume parade. Then we played games and had treats to eat.
It was an interesting week at St. Bridget's. Now it is time to get back into that box again, but I am looking forward to getting to North Carolina.
Love ya,
Pauline
PS- There was no bamboo at the
party.
