All About Me My name is Kirsten Sue Marie S., and I am 13 years old and a seventh grader at Hobart Middle School in Hobart, Indiana. I am a born-again Christian who has really enjoyed learning about the Jewish and Islam faiths. I live with my mom and dad. My brother, Chris, is a junior at the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities in Muncie, Indiana. I belong to Student Council and the National Junior Honor Society at Hobart Middle School. In April of this year, I will compete with the Academic Super Bowl team for science. I am part of the Hobart Middle School choir and hope to be part of the high school choir in two years. I have competed on the middle school gymnastic, track, and cross country teams. I used to play soccer for the Wild Cats Futbol Club, but I am taking a few years off before high school when I want to try out for the team. In fifth grade, I cheered for the Hobart Pop Warner teams and made the 2003-2004 Pop Warner All American Scholar Team. Also, as a fifth grader at George Earle Elementary, I won the Stewart Mattix Scholarship. I am also involved with the Hobart High School Genesius Players. In fifth grade, I was part of the ensemble in Music Man. In March 2006, I will return to the stage as part of the ensemble for Oklahoma! that runs from Friday, March 10th, through Sunday, March 19th. I have helped as crew for Midsummer Night's Dream in November 2004, FAME in March 2005, and God's Favorite in November 2005. I also help Mr. Wolff, the choir teacher at Hobart Middle School and Hobart High School, with choir concerts and the high school talent shows. I am a Cadette Girl Scout in Drifting Dunes Girl Scout Troop #308. I am working on my Silver Award which I need to complete by next October and want to finish this summer. As a Junior Girl Scout in fifth grade, I earned the Bronze Award by building bluebird houses for the prairie behind George Earle Elementary with two other Girl Scouts. The photographs taken during the project became a slide show that won at the AECT Student International Media Fair. I have done projects for media fair competition since I was in first grade. Creating the projects always takes a long time and is a lot of hard work; the fun part is getting to travel around the United States. Miss Wilkison and I have gone to Atlanta, Dallas, Anaheim, Chicago, and Orlando (!!!) to accept my awards for the AECT Student International Media Fair. Other projects I have done were:
I create these projects for other students to use and hope that the information will help others with their homework and projects.
