Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About
Installing Programs
Installing
programs is fairly easy.
Place the CD in the drive. Click the Start menu, run, browse, and then, search your CD drive
for a file that is called setup.exe or install.exe. Click on the file name
and click open.

You
will return to the screen shot above. Click OK.
The
program will then run through a process which will include some or all of these
choices/decisions you must make. Generally, the "next" button
should be clicked to continue.
-
A
choice of modules to install;
-
You
must agree to a licensed agreement in order to continue the install process;
-
You
will be asked where you want to install the program. If you have a
partitioned drive or two hard disk drives, you will need to decide which
drive you want to install it on. You also have a choice of which
folder to install it in. We recommend that you use the default path
shown during the installation process to insure that the program will
function correctly.
-
Many
programs ask you to register the program either online or through the
mail. Although this isn’t really necessary, but some programs offer
free upgrades for a period of time.
-
Some
programs require that the computer is rebooted after install in order to
install drivers.
