Good News at Joan Martin . . .

As you all know, Mrs. Misecko is expecting a baby girl in April.  She will be taking a maternity leave starting with our Spring Break until the end of the school year.   During that period of time Mrs. Amy Turley will hold the position of Assistant to the Principal.  We are very pleased that her student teacher, Miss Murdy, will continue teaching her fourth grade class.  She will have completed her student teaching.

We welcome Miss Nancy Colias who has also completed her student teaching in first grade who will take over teaching for Mrs. Walley who will start her maternity leave after Spring Break.

Congratulations to Mrs. Misecko, Mrs.

Meetings in May
for Parents

We will again will be holding our incoming grade parent meetings.  This is a time for you to meet with next year's teachers.  It is NOT a time to choose your child's teachers.  As you know request were only during the month of March.  It is a time to listen and learn to what you can do to help your child be prepared for next school year.  Teachers will talk about what you can do during the summer.  You will also learn about the teachers' expectations for that grade.
