You will work in groups of two. Each group will pick one of the roles below. You will need to visit web sites and make a group slideshow in Kid Pix to explain to Fred   fire safety rules.

      The Fireman:  As the fireman your job will be to explain how to get out of your house safely and the importance of smoke alarms.You will also need to teach Fred the emergency numbers and how to report a fire or accident.
 

The Parent: As the parent your job will be to show how to check the smoke alarm, plan two escape routes and decide on  a designated meeting place. You also need to explain family rules about matches, hot things in the kitchen, seasonal fire hazards.
 

  The Teacher: As the teacher your job will be to teach Fred  how to do Stop, Drop and Roll  and the fire drill plan and rules  for his school.
