Welcome

Miss Wilkinson's

Third Grade Class!!!

~~~
So far this year we have learned many things. Too many to post We studied the history of Hobart and learned a little about George Earle who founded our little city. As a class project, we created The ABCs of Hobart. It was a lot of fun to see the creative minds at work when trying to use each letter of the alphabet to name something in Hobart. We invite you to take a look at what we came up with.
Gelette Burgess wrote a poem entitled "Purple Cow" and as a school, we celebrate Purple Cow Day every January 30th in honor of his birthday. This year I asked the students in my class to write their own variation of the poem. Why not pour yourself a glass of purple milk and sit down and enjoy these delightful poems?
We'll be adding more of our creative works before the end of the school year and invite you back to take a peek at what we have been doing!
