Other Metals

There are seven elements that are classified as "other metals." Like the transition metals, they are ductile and malleable, but they do not have different oxidation states since their valence electrons are only in the outer shell. Their oxidation numbers are +3, ±4, and -3. They are high in density and are opaque.
