ABOUT KIRSTEN
My name is Kirsten Sue Marie S., and I am 15 years old and a freshman at

varsity squad during basketball;
Participated in the high school murder mystery dinner;
Played the role of Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town performed four times, the high school
fall play;
Was part of the ensemble in 42nd Street, the high school spring musical performed
five times, during which I learned to tap;
Was one of the Cheshire cats in Alice in Wonderland,
the children's program put on for the elementary schools in our district;
Was the first freshman to be appointed emcee for the
high school talent show which ran three evenings and in which I also performed a dance from
HairSpray;
Am an active member of Key Club, an arm of the
Kiwanis, where we serve our community through Lupus
Walk for a Cure, Christmas in April,

Most of my media projects are borne through researching projects for school. There was a great deal of information available on
teenage drinking, drug use, and smoking, but it was overwhelming. Therefore, Riley and I decided it would be helpful to condense
some of the information into a few pages on each subject which might be more useful to other students.
It's always a lot of work with long hours, but the fun part is getting to travel around the United States. Miss
Wilkison and I have gone to Atlanta, Dallas, Anaheim, Chicago, Orlando and back to Dallas to accept my awards for the
AECT Student International Media Fair.
Other projects I have done are:
