Task

Your task will be to step back in time to the late 1800's, to the time of Westward Expansion.  You will become a pioneer in search of a better life out west.
 

 Group Project

 You will be placed in a group of four to five people. Your group will become a traveling pioneer family.   After researching pioneer life, you will create a time capsule in which many items will be placed from your time period.
 
 

Individual Project

 You will be creating a pioneer journal including 5-9 separate entries. In your journal, you will assume the role assigned in your group.
