WRITTEN REPORT - PROJECT - CLASS PRESENTATION


What you are to do during this assignment








WRITTEN REPORT

You will use the  Artist List  and exploring the Internet bookmarks narrowing down your choice to one artist that interests you.
Notify the teacher of your artist, the art work, and the project you will be doing. (a different art work per student)
KEEP TRACK OF AND LIST YOUR SOURCES
Writing a report on the information you have found. See the list of Required Information.

Researching the creativity and imagination of that artist, will expose you to an area of art history and the cultural expression of others during that time period.
During your research you can refer to the worksheet questions using them to gather additional information for your paper.   (WORKSHEET QUESTIONS)



Elements of Art: color, line, shape, form, space, and texture
Principles of Art: balance, harmony, variety, emphasis, proportion, movement, and rhythm.


When presenting your findings to the class please show how the Elements and Principles of art are used in your work of art.
You can use other outside sources such as books, magazines, libraries, and videos.
Please remember to keep a list of your sources.

CLASS PRESENTATION

Talk to the teacher and set up a date for your CLASS PRESENTATION.  Review the EVALUATION Rubrics so that you have all necessary information completed before this time.

The class may visit the Art Institute of Chicago and see the originals in person
