Earth Alert!

Process

1.  Look at the environmental topics below and choose one that would be of interest to you.

Recycling
The processing of waste for reuse. For example, processing used paper to be used again.

 Reusing
The process of using something that you would normally throw   away again, or for another purpose instead.
Reducing
The act of reducing, or cutting down on the amount of garbage we throw away by either making it take up less landfill space or by choosing to only buy products with the least amount of wasteful packaging.

2.  You will then be placed in a group with one or two other partners based on your topic choice.

3.  Your group will next choose which of the projects you will complete from the task page.

4.   Use the internet links and books listed on the resources page to gather information needed to complete your chosen project.  Each member of your group must take notes by using an outline, a word map, or by simply taking notes.  Your notes will be part of your grade and will need to be turned in along with your finished product. Click for help with your note taking.

5.  Go to the evaluation page before beginning your project to see what is expected of both you and your group.
