George Earle Student Handbook

III. SCHOOL ATTIRE

How a student dresses for school relates to how they may act during the course of the day. Clothing that could damage school property or cause distraction from classroom instruction will not be allowed. Certain types of wearing apparel are deemed inappropriate for the regular school day and can disrupt or distract the learning process.

Clothing with slogans that mention alcoholic beverages, substance abuse, or inappropriate language or pictures will not be allowed. Clothes should be the appropriate size for the student.

The public schools of Hobart request all boys and girls who attend to dress and appear in good taste. Cleanliness of body, clothing and hair will be stressed.

Clothing shall be appropriate for seasonal weather conditions, and for the temperature levels in the school.
