Hi, I am Curious George. This is my journal written by my friends in Mrs. Graves' Afternoon Kindergarten class at George Earle Elementary in Hobart, Indiana. Each night I go to a different home and get to become part of their family until we return to school in the morning.
I hope you enjoy reading this, as much as I enjoyed all the fun times I have had! This is my second month of going home with this class of morning kindergartners!

George and I played outside for a while. We came in and played with my Barbie dolls. George and I helped Mom give baby brother a bath. George took a nap and when he woke up we ate dinner. Hi! I spent the weekend with Mrs. Graves and her husband, Ken. We had fun. On Friday night we went to the Hobart vs. Merrillville football game. Ken gets really upset when Hobart does not win. He was upset Friday. On Saturday, Mrs. Graves and I did laundry and cleaned house. I got a bath in the washing machine. I also got a headache from the bumping around. We watched a movie Saturday night. On Sunday we went to church and then some friends came out for dinner and to help take the boat out of the water for the winter. Mrs. Graves made plans for the week and then we watched another movie. I had to work hard and will be glad to go home with the kids again. Love, George

Yesterday when George came home with me we went rollerbladding. After that we went downstairs and played my painting game on my computer. It was fun. After that George and I went outside again and helped my Dad rake all the leaves in the yard. We made a Halloween decoration out of it. Then we came in and watched a movie. We had a lot of fun. Me and Curious George watched a little T.V. Curious George rode down the railing on the stairs. I was there to catch him. George and I played Super Nintendo. George and I played with my cars and trucks. We even bounced on my Mother and Father's bed. George and I had a foot race - George won. We had dinner, George was starving. We had a bath. We played Uno with my Dad and sister. I was throwing George in the air. He landed on the refrigerator. Dad read us a book and we went to bed. And we had a glass of water at bed time. The End.
