I would like to tell you about the Spider Monkeys location. Spider Monkeys are from South America and Central America (Cavendish 2348). Spider Monkeys live in forests of Central South America. They swing arm-over-arm on the branches of the tree in South America rain forest.

Leopards eat monkeys and apes if they get a chance. Troops of chimps sometimes use branches to scare them away (The Life of Monkeys and Apes 24).  Wild hunting dogs are fierce. It is the job for the baboon’s troops. They have strong sharp teeth (The Life of Monkeys and Apes 24). The enemies are the crowned hawk, eagle, and anaconda (The Life of Monkeys and Apes 25).

I would like to tell you about the spider monkeys home life.  Spider monkeys are called primates. They are excellent climbers. Mostly all monkeys live in tropical or subtropical climates. The females have a monthly reproductive cycle. This means mating may happen at anytime. Usually only one baby is born at a time. The mother cares for the baby for a long period of time. Monkeys live in troops of up to several hundred indidvidul and travel in search of food. Monkeys do not have a permanent home.
